AI Filmmaking & Generative Production

New tools. New possibilities. The same commitment to great storytelling.

We combine experienced creative direction with emerging generative AI technologies to develop and produce visual content in new ways. From early concepts and storyboards to synthetic environments, moving images and hybrid live-action productions, we build workflows around the creative brief, not the technology.

Explore the idea before committing to production

AI-assisted concepts, storyboards, previsualisation and animatics can help test a visual direction. We agree the intended use, approval process and limits of an experiment before choosing tools. A proof-of-concept film is a way to evaluate an approach, not a guarantee of the final production's quality or cost.

Generative visuals and hybrid live action

A brief may combine generative video and images, synthetic environments, digital production design, conventional filming and AI-assisted post-production or visual effects. Creative direction connects the elements; production planning checks continuity, performance, formats and what still needs to be captured in camera.

Tools selected for the task

Examples of technologies that may be considered include OpenAI Sora, Google Veo, Runway, Adobe Firefly, Midjourney and ComfyUI-based workflows, alongside other emerging systems. These are possible tools, not exclusive partnerships, certifications or a claim that UNLMTD has delivered projects with each platform. Suitability depends on the brief, current terms and required output.

Human judgement, confidentiality and rights

Human creative judgement and specialist talent remain central. Before a workflow is approved, we consider client confidentiality, what materials can be uploaded, platform terms, intellectual property, likeness permissions and appropriate usage rights. We agree review and approval responsibilities with the client rather than treating generated content as automatically cleared for commercial use.

Frequently asked questions

Can AI be combined with conventional filming?
Yes, where it suits the brief. We can explore hybrid workflows alongside live-action production, considering creative continuity, technical requirements and appropriate rights before agreeing the approach.
Is AI filmmaking always cheaper or faster?
No. Iteration, specialist time, approvals, rights and post-production all affect the budget and schedule. We provide project-specific recommendations rather than assuming a particular technology will save money or time.
What should I share for an initial discussion?
An idea, intended audience, references and any known deliverables are enough to start. Tell us about confidentiality or rights restrictions before sending sensitive materials. You do not need a finished brief.
