Service
Virtual Production. Real Possibilities.
International virtual production services, with facilities and technical teams selected around your brief.
Access virtual production facilities and specialist teams around the world through a single production partner. From LED volume stages and real-time environments to motion capture and hybrid production, we connect the right facilities, technology and people to each brief.
Independent facilities, one production relationship
UNLMTD facilitates access to virtual production expertise through independent international production partners. We do not own or operate a studio network. Facility suitability, availability, technical specifications and costs are confirmed for each project before booking; no specific studio partnership is implied.
LED volumes and real-time environments
LED volume production, Unreal Engine environments, real-time rendering and in-camera VFX need to be planned together with lenses, lighting and physical set elements. Virtual art departments and technical supervisors help establish the environment and test its relationship with the camera before the shoot.
Previsualisation, capture and technical planning
Previsualisation, camera tests and technical planning establish what needs to be ready on stage and what will be finished in post. Motion capture and performance capture can be considered where the brief calls for them, with specialist teams and a clearly defined pipeline.
An option alongside locations and conventional studios
Virtual production is not the default for every project. We compare it with location filming, conventional studio production and AI-assisted or hybrid workflows, weighing creative requirements, preparation, crew, logistics and transparent project-specific costs. Incentive eligibility must be checked against the relevant scheme and qualifying expenditure.

Frequently asked questions
- Does UNLMTD own virtual production studios?
- No. We facilitate access through independent production partners and specialist facilities. Availability, suitability and commercial terms must be confirmed for each brief.
- When should virtual production be considered?
- Early enough to compare it with locations and conventional studio filming. Share your treatment, references and intended camera approach so environment development, technical tests and preparation can be scoped before booking.
- Will virtual production qualify for a rebate?
- Not automatically. Eligibility depends on the territory, scheme, production type, applicant and qualifying expenditure. Get written, project-specific advice and approval before including an incentive in a budget.
